Parking in particular and traffic in general are becoming a dangerous nightmare: currently it seems that maybe until there is a serious accident there is no interest in addressing the issue!

Depends where the parking is. I personally think parking on both sides at teh surgery has the effect of slowing traffic down - a natural traffic calming method.
Traffic should maybe be encouraged to use other routes but the condition of Akeferry Road is terrible. My shock absorbers seem to wear out amazingly quickly due to the roads.
Maybe the Parish Plan should include a bypass!

ALLELUIA haxeyblue  Sadly the Parish Council spurned the golden opportunity a few months ago when it seemingly turned turtle on an earlier supportive decision!The Head of Highways at North Lincolnshire Council, the Police, the Member of Parliament, all in line with Government guidelines, agreed with you haxeyblue! Maybe a serious accident is a precursor to action?  |
