The parish meeting was held tonight and was very informative.
Only problem was that there were hardly any people there.
Why was this?

Just wondering if the Parish Council are linked to this excellent Parish Message Board: as this gathers momentum it should privide Parish Councillors with an insight into what issues folk in the Parish consider important?

The board has the current blessing of Haxey PC to see if it will work.
So the more people who sign up and show an interest and raise subjects, the better.

The agenda is posted on the Haxey Parish Website www.haxeyparish.org.uk/agenda.aspxBut I can set up a list for discussing the agenda when it is posted on the website. I assume it is at the same time as it is sent to councillors

The agenda goes on line the day before the meeting. Is there something to hide? Northside started off about some white stones and now is about making it a no go zone , strange times

I wonder if there were any revelations about Northside?

It seems Northside is going to be a Bridleway, not good enough for a certain man who writes a weekly letter to the papers, he wants a private track so that he can continue to allow his very young grand children to drive his car down Northside

Let me get this right, it is dangerous to mix horses with the walking public. Horses rip up the surface but it is OK for an unlicenced child to drive a car on it. Now what the phrase I am looking for, double??

Horses have used roads and bridleways around the Parish for many 100's of years (compare footpaths instigated for parishioners to go about their daily tasks, not for walking dogs or strolling the countryside). Given proper respect and understanding, horses are unlikely to cause any problem to others, unlike the driving and unthoughtful and often illegal parking of cars!

Wish the horse oweners would pick up what the horse leaves behind
