From what I've seen it would help if people knew this pro-board and indeed the online Parish Council Website even existed. There is never any reference in the monthly minutes to the website address so unless there is a separate area in the noticeboards where it is advertised how do people know it is here. Also it is never mentioned in any Bells/Arrow or press article that I've ever seen either.
Why is it that the minutes can be posted in the noticeboards in printed format quite quickly and easily after the monthly meetings, however the website can take anything up to 2months longer to get updated. If the minutes exist in an acceptable format to be printed to post in noticeboards why does it take this excessive amount of time to upload what is a relatively small file to the website.
Finally, given that the website does exist and going back through many meeting references both a new computer + software and broadband have been sourced for it, why is there still no way to contact via email!
If you want to get people involved you have to give them the "new" means by which to do so.

You make a good point r75 - I wonder if technology has bypassed boards like this.
Should it be a Twitter and Facebook world we live in now?
I would like to see this board come alive with discussions of this and that but without folk being told about it .....
Thankfully there is now a link on the Parish Website to this board.
